In my youth, I did Tawassul (recourse) to Imam Zaman (ajtfs) one night in Jamkaran Mosque. The next day, I realized that my fate had changed. With just one Tawassul.

Ayatollah Jawdan (ra)

Praying for someone is the outcome of love for that person. And the main motive behind love and friendship is that one reckons that person’s existence to be a blessing. In fact, goodness in anyone is expedient and is the cause of love towards him. Thus, the more perfect one’s personal acquaintance of a person’s blessed existence and the more perfect his love for him, the greater would be his attachment in prayers to his existence….The more a believer’s knowledge of Imam (a.t.f.s.) and the more his perception that Imam’s existence is a blessing, the more perfect would be his love too. And the more perfect is one’s love, the more would be his endeavours in praying for Imam (ajtfs).

Woe to the person whom Hazrat Hujjat (ajtfs) knows that he is careless in achieving the approval and satisfaction of His Holiness.

Ayatollah Behjat (ra)

Imam Zaman (ajtfs) witnesses us neglecting our obligations and indulging in forbidden actions.

Ayatullah Muhammad Taqi Bahjat r.a

In the incident of Ali bin Mahziyar, it is mentioned that Imam Mahdi (ajtfs) asked him: “O Abal Hasan, what do you want?” I (Ali bin Mahziyar) replied: “An Imam who is hidden and veiled from the world”.
He (ajtfs) said: “He is not hidden and veiled from you, but your bad deeds have concealed him from you.”

People who remain steadfast in the religion and faith before the reappearance will be given special favors so that they do not lose their faith.

Because Hazrat Wali Asr (ajtfs) is the refuge of people. And those whose refuge is Imam Zaman (ajtfs) are the mountains of faith!

Ayatollah Behjat (ra)

It is related that Imam Rida was present in one of the gatherings in Khurasan when the word qa’im was mentioned. At that he rose, put his right hand on his head and said: “O God, make his deliverance soon and his rising graceful!”
This custom was prevalent even during the time of Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him). Somebody had asked him: “Why is it that one should rise when the Qa’im is mentioned?” The Imam replied eloquently :
The one who is entrusted with the command (sahib al-‘amr) will have a very long occultation. Because of the utmost love that he has for his followers, whoever remembers him with his title Qa’im, which carries the meaning of awaiting his rule and conveys the impact of the longing for him, he too will show his concern. Since the person remembering the Qa’im is also attended by him, it is appropriate to rise out of respect for him and pray to God for his early return.

Ayatollah Ibraheem Amini r.a

It comes in a tradition narrated in Kamaluddin that Amirul Momineen Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said:

“The master of this affair (Imam Mahdi) is that same wandering, homeless and lonely one.”

Also it is narrated from Dawood bin Kaseer Riqqi in Kamaluddin that he said:

I asked His Eminence, Abul Hasan Imam Moosa bin Ja’far al Kazim (as) about the master of this affair (Imam Mahdi a.j) He (as) replied: “He would be that same wandering, lonely, remote and hidden from his family who would be the revenger for his father.”

We should know that remoteness (meaning ghareeb in Arabic) is having two meanings:

1. Remoteness from the family and native land

2. Lack of friends and helpers

His Eminence – may our lives be sacrificed on him – is ‘ghareeb’ in both senses.
